Portrait sessions
Before we shoot, we define what the portrait needs to do.
A portrait for work does not need the same energy as a portrait for music, a personal project or social media. That is why we start with a conversation rather than a fixed formula.
We talk about where the photograph will be used, what should feel natural, what should feel more deliberate and what you definitely do not want to see.
From there I suggest the setting, mood, light and rhythm of the session. The aim is not to make you perform for the camera. The aim is to give you photographs you can recognize yourself in.
